We design and manufacture all our products from our factory in Bellambi, New South Wales, Australia. Always 100% Australian made!
Buckaroo sizing is original and tailored to our Tool Belt design. To find your perfect fit, please see our in depth ‘how to’ guides to ensure that you purchase the correct size.
We offer a broad range of sizes in our Buckaroo Tool Belts from 30”- 46”, but if you require a size that is not on this site, please email usa@buckarooleather.com.au
Throughout the years we have gained considerable experience when sizing people for Buckaroo Tool Belts. We acknowledge the sensitivities around body image and weight and want to make sure that everyone feels comfortable when wearing a Buckaroo Tool belt. We have trialled and tested our sizing guides with a range of body types and heights.
Our findings in doing so have been that women’s navels (belly button) end up sitting right behind the belt tip at front, whereas for men, the navel ends up sitting above the belt tip at front.
- Buckaroo highly recommends wearing braces for all Tool Belts.
- If you have a rounded body type or belly and are unsure where to measure because your belt normally sits lower on the hips, be sure to continue measuring as described in our ‘How to Accurately Measure for Your Buckaroo Tool Belt’ guide. Our tool belts are thick and need to sit firmly on the contours of your body to support your lumbar (lower back).
Through testing, we have found that any weight around your stomach and hips will shift once the belt is fastened. Therefore, when measuring yourself according to our guide, you should subtract approximately 30 mm (1.2 inches) from your overall measurement. This adjustment accounts for the weight shift and provides a more accurate fit.
It may feel awkward at first in this position (nearest to your navel); however, we can assure you that this is the safest placement. Remember that the tool belt is yet to be worn in, and over time it will become even more comfortable.
I want extra lumbar support. See the Signature Back Support Tool Belt.
I don’t need extra lumbar support. See the All-Rounder Tool belt.
Aside from the lumbar support is there any functionality change between the All-Rounder and the Signature Back Support Tool Belt? The only functional difference is that the Back Support has two D-rings, while the All-Rounder has one.
Buckaroo Tool Belts are designed around activating and using your larger abdominal muscles to stabilise the trunk. Our belts work to stabilise the spine, providing lower back protection to enable safer bearing of weight throughout the day. We have made brown leather products in the past and found there was higher demand for black leather. In recent years we have released limited edition brown nail bags and frogs and will continue to do so in the future. Watch this space and stay subscribed to our Buckaroo social and email channels for those future releases.
Please see our ‘How to’ guide for attaching your suspenders onto your Buckaroo Tool Belt.

There is more than one-way to use most products, if you are an online customer with specific requirements, please contact our customer service team for further assistance. Please note, not having your specific tool in our hands will limit our ability to give a definitive response where one is required.
Nothing better than wearing in your Buckaroo leather Nail Bags and Frogs. The leather patina that comes with age is worn as a badge of honour, of hard work and time spent. To get the most of your Buckaroo leather products, to keep them working for you, year after year, they do require some form of aftercare.
